Our commitment

ABA Energy Partners, Inc., trading as ABA Partners Plus, is committed to making this website usable by the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard referenced by Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and by Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.

What we have done

  • Keyboard access. Every link, button, menu, form control and accordion is operable with a keyboard alone, in a logical order, with no keyboard traps.
  • Visible focus. A high-contrast focus indicator with a light halo stays visible on white, tinted and dark-green backgrounds alike.
  • Skip link. A “Skip to main content” link is the first thing keyboard users reach on every page.
  • Semantic structure. Real landmarks (header, nav, main, footer), a single H1 per page and headings that descend in order without skipping levels.
  • Colour contrast. Body text, links, buttons and interface text meet or exceed the 4.5:1 ratio required at Level AA; large text meets 3:1.
  • Colour is never the only cue. The current page in the navigation is marked by an underline and an aria-current attribute, not colour alone. Form errors carry an icon and text, not just a red border.
  • Text alternatives. Meaningful images carry descriptive alt text; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology so they are not announced as noise.
  • Accessible forms. Every field has a visible, programmatically associated label. Required fields are marked in text as well as visually. Errors are announced in a live region, associated with their field and receive focus.
  • Reduced motion. Animation and smooth scrolling are switched off for anyone whose system requests reduced motion.
  • Zoom and reflow. Pinch-zoom is never disabled, and the layout reflows to a single column at 320 px width without horizontal scrolling.
  • Target size. Interactive controls are at least 44 × 44 px on touch devices.
  • Assistive-technology testing. The site is checked with VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, with NVDA on Windows and with keyboard-only navigation.

Known limitations

We are not aware of any outstanding Level AA failures. Third-party documents shared by request — such as PDF capability statements — may not yet be fully tagged for screen readers. If you need any document in an accessible format, ask and we will provide an accessible version or read it to you directly at no cost.

Technical specification

Accessibility relies on HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS and JavaScript, and on the combination of your browser and any assistive technology installed. Core content and navigation remain usable without JavaScript.
